Jam night has always fallen into the hands of humble, caring, open, and sympathetic characters who have reflected the values that Goldenites appreciate most, and that's kept us loyal and thirsty. Over the years Tony Bell has paid his dues and proven his talent, humour, and earnestness. He's downright pleasant to have a conversation with, and sounds like gold being woven into a tapestry when he sings and plays -- some kind of magical golden tapestry, as it were! He stands in stark contrast to the aimless cockrockery and shameless self-inflation that so many small town jam nights fall victim to. Tony is encouraging of others, a long-time local, and entertaining as hell.

The management at Golden Taps Pub is still ignoring our demand for a real musician to take over the stage. They are content with mediocrity while we are stuck listening to the same tired nonsense week after week. We are forcing their hand until Tony Bell gets the spot he deserves.

The people at Golden Taps Pub need to open their eyes because this momentum proves the community is done with their stale choices. Tony Bell is the only option that brings real soul to our stage while the management continues to ignore what we actually want.

Yes! Tony is the only guy for the job. He shreds and actually lets other people play instead of hogging the mic all night.
