WHEREAS; Under the direction of maestro Matt Butler, The Everyone Orchestra (E.O.) is a blissful, masterfully conducted, fully spontaneous explosion of live music created by a rotating cast of world renowned musicians. Each show is 100% unique, as a carefully curated lineup of performers (from bands as preeminent as moe., Trey Anastasio Band, Greensky Bluegrass, Holly Bowling, Railroad Earth, ALO, and many, many more) and is guided through mostly up-tempo, danceable grooves under the creative leadership of Matt’s cues and improvised whiteboard directives and,
WHEREAS; The E.O. is not only a platform in which he showcases the talent of well-known artists, it also helps enhance awareness of those musicians who are lesser-known, and,
WHEREAS; In addition to Matt selecting personal favorites from his archives, he could also curate new assemblages of E.O. for live broadcast online which could greatly enhance the programming by reducing repetitive playlists.
WE, THEREFORE, the undersigned, do hereby petition the programming director of SiriusXM's Jam On channel to enter into negotiations with Matt to establish such a show

I just spent the morning listening to the channel and it really hit me how much of an actual personality gap there is compared to the other stations. I have been drafting an email to their programming director that probably sounds a bit passionate but hey that is the point right. Some of you have sent me the best messages about your own favorite Everyone Orchestra sets and I am honestly saving every single one of them for when I finally get a real person on the phone.

I really thought this might just float around in the void but seeing it grow like this is honestly wild because it proves that people want to hear those unique improvisational sounds on the radio. It feels like we are finally starting to get some actual traction for the Everyone Orchestra vision and I keep coming back to read the comments which are just so encouraging to see.

Matt is a gift to music. Every piece he’s a part of is better for it.
Matt would be an amazing presence on the station and select EO shows/songs would be amazing!

Matt Buttler's Everyone Orchestra Is perhaps the purest incarnation of the jam scene. Throughout the years, so many members of the jam family have participated, and yet every show is completely unique, totally unrehearsed, purely improvisational, and as such is quintessentially "jam" music.
