To have King Cove Corporation re-open Russell Creek back up to the general public

The King Cove Corporation has issued a statement that only corporation shareholders and direct descendants are allowed to access Russell Creek. King Cove Corporation has stated that Cold Bay is not allowed to use Russell Creek to host the annual Kids Dolly Derby or the Silver Salmon Derby. The Kids Dolly Derby is an event hosted by the City of Cold Bay that is open for all communities within our region. All the proceeds from the Silver Salmon Derby go directly to the Cold Bay EMS Squad to aid in all medical emergencies for King Cove, False Pass and Nelson Lagoon. Without the Silver Salmon Derby the EMS will not be able to raise funds to continue providing their services to all the regions communities. Please help us show King Cove Corporation how many people are being affected by closing Russell Creek off to the general public by signing this petition.

This is just ridiculous. The Kids Dolly Derby is a tradition that brings everyone together! Why hurt local kids and the EMS over a grudge? Open it back up!

totally disagree with this move. cold bay ems needs that money to save lives. corporation politics shouldnt get in the way of essential services for the whole region.
