We’ve checked the STARS planner and noticed that our core mods are spread across four days (for both MT4102 and MT4103).
So we’re hoping that rescheduling can be done to reduce the number of school days per week.
Some problems with the current schedule include:
- More transport cost because you have to go to school four times
- Those staying far away spend more on hall
- Those doing part-time internships in the next sem will have problems
Benefits of lesser school days:
- Lesser teaching days
- More people are compelled to go for lectures

I have finished drafting a formal letter to the department heads detailing how this schedule impacts our internships and transit costs. Post the link to this petition on your social media accounts and email your module professors to let them know you support this change.

The administration is finally taking notice of our scheduling conflict now that so many of you have joined this effort. Post this link on your Facebook course groups right now to keep the pressure on the department. Email your module coordinators today to demand a meeting about this consolidated timetable.

commute is way too much for just one or two classes a day, pls consolidate.
having more days free would really help with my internship applications, the current schedule is way too spread out.
Rescheduling of the timetable will give us better time utilisation for FYPs.
