The plans to convert the watermill have been officially withdrawn. I am completely drained after this long fight but seeing the building stay as it is makes the struggle worth it. We should keep an eye on the property to ensure it finally gets the restoration it deserves.

The emails I receive from the council remain cold and dismissive. It is exhausting to fight for a piece of history when the people in charge seem determined to look the other way. I am staying in this for as long as it takes.

Used to go here as a kid. Such a shame to see it crumbling. Fix it up properly instead of selling out to developers.
So sad to watch this beautiful building fall apart. restoration is the only way to go.
This place is a piece of our history. Turning it into luxury flats would be a complete tragedy for the village.
Heritage like this should be protected for everyone not just rich people who want a fancy house. stop the conversion now.
KEEP IT AS IS. Enough with the building nonsense everywhere.
