Silver Station is a non-profit 55 years-old and older social club in Bluffton. We welcome everyone to join regardless of neighborhood residency or status. Isolation causes illness, physical and mental, that can be potentially fatal. There is a very large void in Bluffton where a place that allows our older cohort to meet, socialize, and support each other should be. Silver Station is able to fill that void. Our goal is to combat isolation, be a support system, be the hub of resources about aging, and be baby boomer friendly. We want to be the place people want to go, not have to go. We want to help people age their best way possible. What is what we are... What we need is a building and community support to get it off the ground. We can't get funding without a building and the ability to show the numbers of people that want to join and be a part of program that can help many people in our community.
Please sign our petition to show people that can help us how many people in Bluffton want a place to socialize, learn, and be supported. Let them know we need Silver Station.

We were not created to be alone . Bluffton area would benefit from an additional active senior center offering thoughtful programming, services, and an overall fun social place to promote positive aging for 55 plus adults living outside of lifestyle communities.
This is something that this town really needs. Not everyone lives in a Plantation and some of those people have no social circle!

I work for a Home Care Agency and I can personally tell you that this area desperately needs a center for seniors to have a place to go to and have interactions with other seniors. This is so beneficial to their health, well being and quality of life.
