This petition exists to change the laws being enforced in "the fields" community in lake worth florida. It seeks to remedy the issues with the current parking situation. Currently residents are not allowed to park on the street at any time. By signing this you propose a motion to allow parking on a specific side of the street depending on the day of the month. Other solutions will be considered but the intent here is to change the current policy as it does not work.

I really never expected this much momentum when I started typing this up at my kitchen table but here we are and it feels like the neighborhood is finally waking up to how ridiculous these parking rules actually are. Honestly it feels like people are tired of the constant stress of worrying about a ticket just because they have a guest over for dinner or parked slightly the wrong way. Thank you for pushing this forward because it proves we are not just venting into the void.

Instead of spending money on parking enforcement, it would be much more productive to spend the same money on an actual parking solution that works for the residents.
Everybody has family and friends. They need somewhere to park when they visit, parking in the street is fine as long as you can still drive through. Odd and even plan is a great option. I guess these developers have no life.
We need some street parking consideration. Our garages with trash cans and recycle bins do not allow two (2) normal size cars even if that is all we use the garage for. If not street parking consideration, then guest parking lots needs to be in constructed in all phases. Thank you.
The guest parking situation is simply unreasonable. I understand overnight parking and such but we have company over we shouldn’t have to limit the amount of guests due to limited parking. It’s also extremely embarrassing and unreasonable to requests that guests park at the club house or sales center.
Change the rules so that parking on the street is allowed during the day, and/or on odd/even days and side of street that corresponds. Not realistic to ban all parking 24/7.
Maybe not enforce the rule on weekends, since those are the days most people have visitors.

Parking on the street should be limited to over night parking only. The blocking of the sidewalk should not be enforced. Being that not all homeowners have sidewalks and they can park 4 vehicles in the driveway we should not penalize the homeowners that have been given sidewalks.
