im still reading all the stories people are sharing about the first time they heard rockin steady and honestly it just confirms why this recognition is so overdue. i have been busy reaching out to the soul train folks to make sure they see these names so keep hanging in there with me.

im honestly blown away by how much love is pouring in for the whispers. seeing so many people agree that they deserve this honor for fifty years of music makes all the work worth it.

After 50 years The Whispers deserve all the accolades available to any group of this longevity. Not only have they endured, they've done so with grace and class while never failing to entertain us. They are true embassadors of the genre and keepers of the flame.
The Whispers deserve recognition for 50 years of entertaining and staying together through hardship and illnesses. They have kept their same type of music because that’s what the fans want to hear. They do a lot of things in their community that don’t get publicized. They do it from their hearts, not for the press. They are a great group of guys that appreciate their fans and take care of each other. I feel this award is long overdue.
I have listen to and enjoyed The Whispers for many,many years,thought by now they had recieved this award!They most certainly deserve it!

I have headed up The Whispers Fan Club for fourteen years, along with three other faithful members. our total membership is now over 500 for the EAST COAST and almost 200 for the WEST COAST. d
