As a concerned resident of The Villa community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, I am deeply troubled by the ongoing issue of poor quality irrigation water. I have children and pets who play outdoors and are exposed to this potentially toxic water. For over six months, we have lodged complaints about the bad smelling water used for irrigation in our community. Despite our efforts, no effective action has been taken by the Dubai Municipality.

We have even collected water samples as evidence that clearly show the quality of this water is not up to the standards approved by UAE authorities. This situation is not only causing discomfort but also poses a significant health risk to all residents and their pets.

It's time for Dubai Municipality to take responsibility and rectify this issue urgently. We need them to ensure that only safe, within-specification waste-water is used for irrigation purposes in our community.

By signing this petition, you are supporting our effort towards a healthier environment for ourselves and future generations living in The Villa community. Please sign this petition urging Dubai Municipality to take immediate action on this matter.

I have been in contact with local administrative offices to present the water samples we collected as formal evidence. While official responses remain pending, the documentation provided by this petition serves as a critical tool in our ongoing discussions regarding public health standards.

The increase in public interest regarding our community water quality has been substantial. This level of engagement confirms that residents are united in seeking a safe environment for their families and pets.

I am a landlord in The Villa Community and the current situation with the grey water is totally unacceptable and concerning. The community has been always somewhat neglected which is a shame as it offers so much potential.

Mosquitoes and flies due to this water is intolerable and my dogs constantly having diareoha after walk is frustrating. Smell is super unpleasant and can’t enjoy common parks and garden area anymore

This needs sorting out asap, the side effects of this toxic water are awful. Feeling nauseous, rashes on legs if you go on the grass and can't even sit outside or have the windows open.

Please rectify this issue as soon as possible. Our children need a safe and clean area to play, and we need to be able to trust that our community irrigation does not contain dangerous levels of ecoli in the water irrigation, (as private lab reports have proved).
