The truth behind Eskom challenges.
As a country we are suffering the consequences of our own actions. Most residents in South Africa are not paying electricity but they expect to be supplied with electricity every month, which sounds like a fairytale. In the real world nothing is for free; electricity, jobs, water, petrol, food, clothes, e.t.c. So some people are paying to hide their bodies, to be fed, to quench their thirst, or to even get a job.
We know as a country that not all of us are paying electricity but we are not doing anything about it. Eskom is drowning in debt because of us... our power stations are not fully serviced and maintained because of us. This leads us to a monthly load shedding as they are trying to avoid total blackout. Total blackout is when we have no electricity at all, it takes 2 weeks or more to be get the powerplant up and running again. They are very costly and they cause more damage to the power stations.
This petition is to help our beloved ones realize that they need to change for the sake of our country. If Eskom keeps on getting deeper into debt we will surely have a total blackout. This petition has been signed by a few hundreds in this country but we need more voices to support us
