We understand you're trying to prepare us for high school but with so much to do while everyone's looking forward to summer break in a few days, no one wants to do read this at all. I have been hearing from people in every period about how much the workload has piled up recently. Email the teacher today to ask for an alternative to this assessment. We need to show them that this schedule is not reasonable right before break.

The administration is finally noticing the amount of students who refuse to take this assessment on top of our existing reading load. Send this link to your classmates right now and text three friends to ensure they see this update. We need to keep this pressure up until the requirement is officially dropped.

I'm sorry but this book teaches us nothing in life or anything related to what is upcoming in college
Language arts teachers, I think you need a reality check. With only 2 weeks of school left I don't think you realize it but nobody is going to read this stupid book.
I do not have time to read this between practices and final exams coming up in other classes, too much stress on us to read 40 pages a night. If we take this final there is the potienal for me do poorly than resulting in me getting a bad grade on my report card.
Even if you do read the book you practically fall asleep with every page!! Nobody needs to take a test on a book 90% of the student body didn't even read!! It's awful!! If they want to prepare us for highschool at least pick a book we can learn from and enjoy! We have enough stress as it is!
This book is horrible and to long. How can we be expected to read 7 chapters a night when the chapters are 20 pages long each. Also there are 60+ chapters in the book

I'm having a very hard time catching up with reading and am not understanding the content
