The administration has acknowledged the volume of this petition and requested a formal meeting to discuss current policy constraints. I am currently drafting a letter that outlines our specific concerns regarding student productivity and communication access.

i only work hard when i have headphones in cause otherwise i will talk the whole time and get no work done
i just want to use my phone in advisory, it’s way faster than the laptops. sorry
laptops at this school are so slow and laggy. using my phone for research is just way more efficient and i get way less frustrated.
its really unfair that we cant even check if our parents texted us during lunch. just let us use them during break times at least.
I think that phones are an important necessity to school. We use phones daily to do homework on canvas and take pictures of assignments. We also use phones to contact our parents for safety purposes. #FreeThePhones

Some students focus better while listening to music so they won’t be talking.Atleast let us use it in advisory because most of us finished our homework and have nothing else to do but sit there.
