Prom is one of the best events you attend while in high school and we want you to have the best prom ever. We parents are proposing to take over the location, planning, fundraising and decorating free of charge and the school to donate the money that they pay someone to do it to the prom costs. We as parents believe that you the students are who pays for the prom and you deserve to have it where you want and how you want. We want to move it to a location that is beautiful and provides a meal so you only have to go to one place all for one price. We think this is ideal for all. We will also offer fundraisers toward your tickets and prom costs making it possible for all to attend. If you believe this is what you want, sign this petition for us to present to the board at their June meeting.

The response to our proposal has gained significant momentum recently and confirms that many families desire a change in how our prom is organized. This groundswell of support demonstrates that our community values both the quality of the student experience and the necessity of inclusive planning.

Finally some common sense. Stop wasting our money on a place no one likes.
The fire hall is so depressing. We deserve something nicer for our senior year after all the hard work we put in.
I believe students are mature enough to want to go to where they would like to make their memories and to eat what they enjoy.Prom was never to be about control.
Ridge prom is pathetic! Both my kids suffered through fire hall proms and it was money waisted. Just because the person who takes control is a member of the Alum Bank fire hall and uses CRHS's prom to make herself look good. "News Flash " Taking money from kids and forcing them to have their prom at your organization doesn't make you look good at all!
