Prom is one of the best events you attend while in high school and we want you to have the best prom ever. We parents are proposing to take over the location, planning, fundraising and decorating free of charge and the school to donate the money that they pay someone to do it to the prom costs. We as parents believe that you the students are who pays for the prom and you deserve to have it where you want and how you want. We want to move it to a location that is beautiful and provides a meal so you only have to go to one place all for one price. We think this is ideal for all. We will also offer fundraisers toward your tickets and prom costs making it possible for all to attend. If you believe this is what you want, sign this petition for us to present to the board at their June meeting.

I have been hearing from so many of you who remember how stressful and limited our own prom planning felt back in the day. We are currently gathering all the logistics to show the board that this plan is practical and will save the school significant effort.

Seeing this level of support reminds me why I started this for my own child. The momentum we have built together proves that our vision for a better prom is shared by so many families at this school.

Finally someone is stepping up to organize this properly. Count me in for decorating duty.
My daughter is a junior and she really wants this change. The old venue is just tired and way too small for everyone.

That's how my prom was where I went to school. There was also a professional photographer to take pictures of me and my date.
