We, the undersigned, are petitioning Churchill Academy to change it's intention to restrict the purchase of school uniform to a single supplier. We believe this is anti-competitive, fails to support local businesses, leads to increased costs with no guarantee of better value or improved quality
The feedback from families regarding the financial burden of a single-supplier uniform policy continues to reinforce the importance of this effort. I am currently drafting a formal document for the board of governors detailing these concerns and the preference for a competitive marketplace.

The momentum behind this petition highlights a collective desire for fair competition and transparency regarding our school uniform policy. It is clear that the community is committed to ensuring that parents have the freedom to select quality options at reasonable prices.

This single source policy is unfair on local businesses and parents on low income. Churchill school uniform was costly for the latter group and now the school are making it even harder for that group of parents. I think it's disgraceful to expect parents to pay John Lewis prices.

Ridiculous. We already struggle with the cost of blazers without forcing us to buy from one place that charges way too much.

Total monopoly. Local shops have been selling these for years and do a great job. Why change it now?

The prices at the new supplier are just shocking. Not everyone has that kind of money to throw away on a logo.
