The 405 w 45th tenant association is petitioning to have tenant accessible surveillance cameras installed in our front door/entrance and mail room, including video doorbell capability, giving us the tenant right and ability to more thoroughly vet who enters the building, helping to keep the building and tenants safe, and stop people from stealing packages from our mail room.

The video intercom would be extremely helpful to know if it is a delivery man or food delivery. Also, the intercom on our buzzer does not work so I cannot even ask who the person is buzzing.
It'd reallllly help with the stolen packages. Understand we can't have access to video cameras, but I think it'd be nice to have more certainty of who is entering the building. Thank you! Peter in 6E

I’m in 4E and been here less than a month and had too many instances with door that could be solved with a simple video intercom system. Both the buildings next to us have them.
The video intercom would be extremely helpful to know if it is a delivery man or food delivery. Also, the intercom on our buzzer does not work so I cannot even ask who the person is buzzing.
