As many of the current We the People alum know, Mrs. Yates is retiring this year and has already handed the reigns of weeple over to Mr. Horos to run the program. The departure of Mrs. Yates opens a spot for Telos to get hired at East, which previously wasn't available. Consequently, I thought a petition might aid his chances of getting hired if we receive enough signatures from current students, coaches, alumni, parents, etc.

Telos has been an outstanding and dedicated coach to our students in We The People and more importantly he is devoted to developing young thoughtful minds. This is a great opportunity for EGRPS to hire someone who brings a passion and amazing work ethic to the educational process.
While Mr. Constantelos's knowledge expands across a wide spectrum of academic disciplines - his passion for European History is truly impressive and would bring a new dynamic to the classrooms at East!
Telos is already a tremendous asset to the We The People Students at EGRHS. As a full-time teacher I am confident he would excel as a teacher - he is a passionate educator and highly regarded by his current students.
Alex is awesome. He was a mentor for We the People for my daughter Erica VandenBerg and my son Oliver. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about history. He would be an excellent teacher at East. I recommend him absolutely!
Having had two students participate in the We the People program I know the significant role Alex played in the teams successes. His dedication to the students and program are unmatched. As a teacher/coach he is highly respeced by the parents and students and would be an asset to the East school system.
Telos is both a caring teacher and intellectually gifted. There are a group of students at EGR for which he would be a tremendous asset and role model if he was hired. He is uniquely qualified for a teaching position at EGR.
We believe that Alex Constantelos would be an asset to the East Grand Rapids High School staff!

We the People is the single best educational opportunity offered at East. Not only does it need to be sustained, it needs to grow into the middle and elementary schools. Telos will be a great candidate to further these objectives.
