The undersigned persons, being concerned community members including students of Athens High School and their parents hereby petition the school board to:
Allow the original ISE agreement to stand, whereby teacher chaperones educate and accompany their students in Costa Rica and France in June 2015 with their travel expenses covered.
Chaperoning these trips is hard work. These dedicated teachers should not have to pay their own way, when they are working so hard on behalf of their students.
EACH PETITIONER by signing this petition certifies that he or she is either a parent of a participant, or a participant themselves in the Spanish and French trips of 2015.

Please consider school board action to sanction this as a school trip as other districts do that work with ISE. I appreciate your thoughtful consideration of this matter.
Please allow the teachers to abide by the original agreement with ISE where the cost of their trip is covered. This is a WORK trip, and they should not have to PAY to work. Thanks!

I want to leave the country with my trusted teachers, not with someone I don't know. Our teachers shouldn't be punished for WORKING with their students and taking time out of their personal vacations to continue to be excellent and supportive teachers.
