What's happening now? Well...
Saturday, 21st May: Well, now we play the waiting game. Signatures have been sent to both Stagecoach South West and Devon County Council.
Monday, 23rd May: We're awaiting their reply.
Wednesday, 25th May: Mr Mizen replied to the petition, saying in his letter that he has acknowledged the reciept of the petition. He has passed our pack onto Mrs Hargreaves, Stagecoach South West Managing Director.
Wednesday, 8th June: Devon County Council replied to petition in a long letter. In essence, after explaining the situation, the answer from their point of view is: "There is no immediate prospect of the reinstatement of the 111 in its previous form."
However, there has been no reply from Stagecoach South West as of yet. We still remain hopeful that, at the very least, Stagecoach will be able to run school term journeys once again on the 110, 111 and 112.
We are now in the process of writing to Dr Sarah Wollaston, MP for the Totnes constituency, with what has been happening.
As soon as we find out more, this will be the first place to hear about it.

I spent the morning staring at the bus schedules again and honestly it is just maddening how much this withdrawal disconnects our neighborhoods. People keep sending me messages about how they are supposed to get to work or the shops now that the 111 is gone and my inbox is honestly just a giant list of heavy hearts and logistical nightmares.

I rely on this bus to get to my appts. really stressful not knowing how to get around lately.
Ridiculous decision. The 111 was a lifeline for so many of us older folks here in Torbay. Bring it back!!
NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN CUT!!
How are people supposed to get to work without this bus. Absolute nightmare for the village residents.
Need this route back asap. cant get to the shops properly anymore.

Just another example of them cutting services and leaving us stranded. Get it sorted stagecoach.
