Hi all, my name is Taylor Wipf and I am running for a position as a junior Student Senator! I am an Elementary Education major with a minor in Hispanic Studies and an endorsement in Math. My current and past experiences in leadership positions include being a Senior Titan Orientation Leader and a TA/Tutor for Math. Additionally, I am a part of various RSOs on campus. I hope to further my involvement at Wesleyan through this potential opportunity. My goal is to be more informed about what is occurring on campus and bring awareness to issues that students are facing such as mental health struggles and the resources they can utilize. I hope to be an advocate for people of color on campus and ensure that the standards of Titan diversity and inclusion are upheld. And that those in the minority on campus feel that their voices are heard.

The conversations I have had with fellow students regarding mental health resources and campus inclusivity have been deeply reflective. I am spending time this week meeting with student organization leaders to better understand the specific challenges they encounter. Your encouragement helps ensure these discussions remain a central part of my platform.
