Hi everyone!

My name is Sophia Marie Jimenez. I am a sophomore political science major, minoring in public health. I served as a freshmen student senator last school year and I would love the opportunity to do it again. As a student senator I was able to contribute on both the Diversity & Inclusion and Advocacy & Awareness commitees, helping to make a difference for our student body and campus. Senate allowed me the opportunity to serve as the student representative for the John Wesley Powell Research Conference where I was able to share my voice and represent the entire student body to help improve our educational conference at IWU. I love being involved on campus such as Alpha Gamma Delta, SALSA Exec, and WomeninPolitics Exec.

I would love the opportunity to continue to grow my leadership as a sentor for my sophomore year. Contributing to make IWU an enjoyable, safe, and comfortable place for everyone to call their home away from home. Thank you and Go Titans!
