My name is Alyssa Conley, and I am a Sophomore Entrepreneurship major here at Illinois Wesleyan.
I am highly involved on campus here, and as a Senator last year, I had the opportunity to help better our student body alongside other student leaders. I feel strongly about the Illinois Wesleyan community, and I am passionate about continuing to improve our campus.
I would love to be a Senator and represent my class. I would be a reliable Senator as I am be organized, have leadership skills, and work hard for the things I believe in. However, most importantly, I want to advocate for issues that are important to me and my classmates. It is crucial that we make changes in our society today so that the world becomes a better place, one generation at a time. I believe that we can start this change with our community at IWU. I hope to be able to make this change by being a part of Student Senate!

I really did not think this would take off like it has when I first typed it up on my laptop in the library so thanks to everyone for jumping on board. It is super exciting to see so many people from the class wanting to push for these changes because honestly it makes the nerves about the whole senate thing feel a lot more manageable now.

Glad to see her running again. We need people in senate who know what they are doing and she definitely has the experience.
