The corporate suits at Target continue to ignore our neighborhood concerns while they eye that property on Hollister. We are not going away quietly and we demand a real evaluation of how this store will crush our local businesses.

The momentum we have built proves that the residents of Santa Barbara are finished letting developers dictate the future of our neighborhoods. Target might think they can just roll into our city, but this outpouring of opposition shows they have a real fight on their hands.

We are grinding toward 100 signatures but the city planning board still thinks they can ignore us. Burn the internet down today and get this in front of everyone you know until they cannot act like we are not here.

The traffic studies for this spot have always been a joke. Adding a big retailer there is inviting a disaster for the local neighborhood.
Yes please! It would be so much more convenient than driving all the way into Goleta or downtown.
Keep small businesses alive. Santa Barbara doesnt need to look like every other generic city in America.
TAKE MY MONEY. Need a Target closer to home seriously.
Whatever brings jobs to the area is fine by me. Just build it already.

We dont need another big box store clogging up traffic out there. Hollister is already a nightmare at 5pm.
