I just received word that Target is staying in Benton Harbor. This outcome belongs entirely to the 1,026 people who spoke up for our community when it seemed like no one was listening. I am truly humbled by what you all achieved together.

I was the Supervisor of the community that spoke to your real estate team, informing you how important your company is to US. please reconsider your closure and reach out to the local Chamber of Commerce and see what can be done to help.
Please reconsider closing our Target in Benton Harbor, MI. If you have to close one, do it in a city that has two of them, like Kalamazoo. The closest Target to us if you close ours will be 50 miles away. We need one here.
Please do not shut down our Target. We have enjoyed shopping at this store for 20 years. Before that, we had to travel 30-60 minutes to get to our nearest Target. We do not want this to happen. It will be a huge detriment to our community.
Please don’t close! I heard it was from slow business and theft. If that is true please consider relocating to a neighboring city. Meijer opened a second store in our area a few years ago. The new Meijer in Stevensville is ALWAYS busy. Please think about it.
Target is a wonderful store that is appreciated in this community. Please don’t make us who live here travel outside of our local shopping to get the quality shopping we choose. Also, I fear it would have a domino effect on the stores around it, such as TJ Max and Kohl’s.
We need this store to give us options to Meijer and Walmart..... Couldn't it be a hybrid store that would offer more grocery items in place of the lacking sales in other areas? Especially now that you're bringing in some great name brands, it should infuse some excitement.... Please don't close

This store serves a vital need in the area - we can't find decent clothes or basic housewares in the community. Many jobs are at stake and other retailers will suffer as well. Please re-consider the decision to close. Thank you.
