As we have heard, Target is planning on closing the Benton Harbor Michigan store in February 2018. This is a serious blow to the area because of several factors; the loss of jobs, the loss of a major retailer in an area, the dominoe effect on other stores in the area. It is our hope that Target will reconsider when management sees how strongly the community wants the retailer to remain in SW Michigan.
