I am currently gathering the feedback from students and parents to present to the district office. Email the board members directly today to tell them how this schedule change ruins your planned trips. We must keep the pressure on them until they decide to reverse this decision.

There was clearly no school that day. So just because of the weather you guys can reschedule school for Friday.
I scheduled a few things that I cant reschedule so its your fault I wont be at school Friday either way!
We all cant afford to change our plans just because the school district changed their mind.
If the calendar says theres no school then thats how it should stay. Some kids are scheduled to work Friday.
My main reason to sign this petition is that Annie the musical had scheduled an 8 to 12 rehearsal on Friday morning. We lost a night of rehearsal on Tuesday night because of the snow and the musical is next week. We really NEED this day off!
Fuck that shit :P USD443 be bipolar as fuck.

I have read Mr. Cunningham's explanation and I understand some of his points and respect that he came forward with an explanation, however, I do have to agree that many families use these days for out of town activities and doctor appointments. I do not feel there was appropriate notice given, especially since this has never happened before that I am aware of. I respect Kennedy Burks for taking a stand.
