With so many important decisions being taken by our parliamentarians in Leinster House is it not time that access to alcohol was removed from Dail Eireann?
We continually hear of the damage that alcohol does to our society and it is time our TDs lead by example and remove alcohol from Leinster House.

The politicians in Leinster House think they can ignore us while they enjoy their private bar privileges. We are keeping the pressure on these officials until they realize that their hypocrisy is no longer acceptable.

Only in Ireland.... disgraceful that our Government can drink while they are supposed to be working.
The parasites have the people bled enough without doing it while under the influence.
It is actually an embarrassment to the Country to be honest that Alcohol is so prevalent In Ireland in every way as far as the Government making decisions also, I mean seriously.. ...
I pay my taxes like everyone else but i also pay for my own food and drink like everyone else. These TD's work for us, why should i have to pay for them to have a drink when they can't be bothered to show up for work on time. It's a culture we are trying to change and they are not setting a good example.
Disgrace. League of their own up there. For once start to do the right things for this country and it's citizens.

Government is extremely important work - I'd like to ask the members of the Dail if they would accept any other professional doing their job under the influence? Teachers? Gardai? Time to sober up, Ireland!
