I have submitted a formal request for a meeting with the Governor to discuss the specific language for Taegen's Law. Legal counsel is assisting in drafting the legislative proposal so we can present a clear path forward. Expect further updates once we receive a response regarding the scheduling of that session.

I am signing this petition for so that justice takes place for this innocent little child Taegen who did not deserve to die, especially in the way and manner she died. The person responsible for the murder of this precious child should never be released from prison and should never have any more appeals, this should be a permanent jail sentence, with no possible parole ever, until his death, then he faces the judgement of God. So then this is to Jaegen, May justice prevail for you on this earth and God will then have his judgement as well. WHy give him the chance to do this to another child or person. I pray he turns to God.
I'm sorry to join in so late, and hope it's not too late to get some justice for this beautiful little baby that didn't deserve to have this happen to her. Hope this Monster gets everything that coming to him, both through the Judicial System and, in life. My thoughts and prayers are with Taegen's family.
He doesn't deserve an appeal. This precious baby doesn't have an opportunity to "appeal" for her life. It's time to take a stand and let anyone who preys on and hurts children that it's not okay and let justice be served!!! He lost his rights and voice when he took away hers. We are now her voice! Don't allow him to keep trying to take our voice away!
We must have stronger penalties for these animals that take innocent children's lives.
This makes me so sick to my stomach. How can he even be out on bail? That baby was just learning to walk and this monster took her away. New Mexico needs to wake up and get this changed right now. Prayers for the family.
