We are asking the US embassy to Ecuador to provide support in the search for US citizen, US Peace Corps Volunteer, and former US Americorps volunteer, Travis Sackett. Travis was last seen hiking up Volcán Imbabura on the 21 of February and was not seen hiking back down or leaving the volcano. Friends and family have organized local guides hike, even in tough weather, to help search. We have also been working with local police, who are organizing and implementing various search efforts. Upon requesting help from the US embassy to Ecuador, we have not received support towards the effort. This petition is to request that the US embassy provide support to amplify the search in these critical days where hope of finding our friend alive is dwindling.
