We, the undersigned, formally petition President Barak Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to withhold any normalization of diplomatic channels with the government of Syria until the case of American citizen (Israeli MIA) Zachary Baumel is resolved. We further petition the United States government to uphold Public Law 106-89, the Zachary Baumel Law, and not allow United States aid to any government (including Syria, Lebanon, Iran as well as the Palestinian Authority) or continued diplomatic relations without such governments revealing knowledge of his whereabouts as well as those of Yehuda Katz, Tzvi Feldman and Gilad Schalit.
We further petition the President Barak Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to immediately and without delay openly express solidarity with the plight of Baumel, Katz, Feldman and Schalit and fully support without exception the heroic efforts of the families and the humanitarian efforts of others to free their loved ones.

Thinking of his family today. They deserve answers and peace after so much waiting.
heartbroken for the parents. please dont give up on him.
Bring him home after all these years. It is the very least we should be doing for our soldiers.

We need to stop ignoring this. The government needs to hold Syria accountable for this. It has gone on way too long.
