The Riverseed School is a creative solution to public education that has grown out of the dreams of two Montessori teachers, Ebony Marshman and Zanso Dalili-Ortique. It will be a teacher-led, two-room Montessori schoolhouse that is nature-based and intentionally and holistically pro-Black in its upholding of liberatory learning.

The vision for The Riverseed School is to offer an intimate setting in which the most immediate stakeholders: students, educators, families, and neighborhood feel holistically safe and affirmed in their identities, while also fostering an appreciation, knowledge, and reverence of the natural world.
