Please show your support for the Proficiency Academy of Tigard Tualatin to the Oregon Department of Education!
Registration is currently open to students entering grades 9-12 for the 2011-2012 school year, however the state will want to see the sustainability of the school & the community support of it. So this is where this petition comes in! It's really important, if you as a parent support this educational option, please sign the online petition.

I have spent hours reading through your comments and it is clear how much this school means to our kids. Seeing your commitment to this alternative path keeps me fighting while I prepare the official files for the state review.

Seeing this level of backing for our students confirms that this community truly values the unique opportunities the Proficiency Academy provides. The momentum behind this movement gives me so much hope that we will keep our school options alive for these kids.

what a joke if they shut this down. these kids deserve a path to graduation that works for them.
Tigard needs more options for kids who fall through the cracks. This program is a life saver.
This place helped my nephew graduate when no one else would give him a chance. We need this.
My son needs this school. Traditional classrooms just dont work for him. Keep it open please
