I have been spending my days sifting through the heartbreaking messages you all have sent about the shelter conditions. The lack of response from the county board is painful but it only confirms that we have to keep pushing for a facility that actually values these lives.

Seeing this level of support brings me back to the moment I first heard what happened to those eighty-three cats. It feels like people finally understand that our community is suffering because of this crumbling building. We are keeping the pressure on the county board because those animals deserved better.

As a resident of Prince William County I believe better facilities are a must for the safety and health of all the animals in PWC.
I believe that the reason was a quickly spreading virus, but anyone who has ever visited the shelter knows the facility is inadequate for the population of the county.
I am disgusted by the thought of however many thousands of dollars are wasted in PWC tearing up perfectly good roadway and laying down completely new asphalt where no roadwork was needed, yet our animal shelter is much too inadequate.
I live in Prince William County Animal and am very disappointed at the way the shelter is taken care of. Some of our taxes need to go to expanding and bringing our shelter up to date.
I'm signing this petition because Prince William needs a new animal shelter! With population growth comes an increase in pets that go stray, etc. It's horrible that this hasn't been addressed until recently.

There is a desperate need forvaclarger Animal Shelter. recently had to euthanize 83 cats because there was not enough space to,separate the cats, so,that they could prevent the spread.
