The city finally committed to the beach replenishment project. We did it. Now we just watch to make sure they follow through.

Please sign this petition to encourage sand replenishment/dredging at Ocean Bluff Beach and to protect a 90 year old coastal defense structure (Revetment) that protects an entire neighborhood, utilities and major roadway from the North Atlantic. While other beaches in Marshfield, MA are receiving sand replenishment, Ocean Bluff Beach is continuously ignored & forgotten by those responsible for its maintaining and protection.

Voice your support for Ocean Bluff Beach by signing our petition to protect, restore and preserving Ocean Bluff for another 90 years.

You do not have to be a Marshfield Resident to sign this petition to help protect a neighborhood from a potential disaster.

I live in Arizona but have lots of family with beach houses in Marshfield/Ocean Bluff. I can’t imagine going to visit and not having any sand to sit on or walk on while at the beach. Please give them the sand they need❤️

Ocean Bluff is vastly different today from 1977 when I first came to live here. There were glorious tidal pools and sandy places for my children to play in Ocean Bluff, gone now for along time. Shameful

I have been unable to navigate the stairs without help at 3rd Rd for the past 3 years. Now, the beach itself is not walkable unless it is low tide because of the boulders & lack of sand. This is unacceptable!!

We bought our home in 2003, we had plenty of sand and beach. We had stairs leading down to our beach. We need to get it back the way it was. Dredging the beach and replenishing the sand will greatly be better for our little slice of heaven on earth

Our family has owned property here since the 1960s and used to enjoy sandy beaches that are no more. With the sand gone, the revetments are crumbling and our house may we’ll be washed away.

Protect our beach, our utilities ad the safety of our first responders--rebuild and replenish the sand abutting the revetment.
