Regardless of the long range coastal forecast, we need our seawalls repaired and maintained NOW. The residents depend on them, and we can not abandon our coastal residents, and the infrastructure that protects nearly 50% of our town, if not more. We need to show the residents and town government that we support the FULL amount of money for the DPW to do the correct seawall work. We need the full amount, and not the chopped amount usually presented and voted on at town meeting. This affects everyone in town, not just a few. PLEASE NOTE.. THE NEXT PAGE ASKS YOU TO PAY. THIS IS NOT REQUIRED. SIMPLY "X" OUT AFTER YOU SIGN. THANK YOU!
I have been hearing from so many neighbors who fear the next storm will finally compromise the wall that keeps our homes dry. These signatures show the town leaders that we refuse to accept a half-funded patch job for a problem that threatens our entire community.

Seeing this level of support for our coastal defenses is overwhelming because I know how much my neighbors rely on these walls for their safety. This momentum proves that our town finally recognizes that the integrity of our infrastructure is a necessity for all of us.

About time. Every year they try to cut the budget and every year the storms get worse. Stop being cheap and just fix it right.

The erosion is getting so bad. My basement floods every time there is a storm surge. Give DPW the full amount.

Fix the walls already. We pay enough in property taxes to expect the town to keep our roads and homes from falling into the ocean.
