We, the parents and community at Ellerhorst Elementary, are deeply troubled by the recent events regarding our principal, Mr. Greg Whaling. We feel this situation is not being handled well or fairly with regard to Greg, and we hope that the District can quickly resolve the situation in a way that allows Greg to continue his productive and great work with our school and our community.
While allegations cannot be dismissed out of hand, neither should a person's life and reputation be put through the vicious grind of rumors and uninformed public opinion while allegations are investigated.
By signing this petition, you are supporting Ellerhorst's Principal, Mr. Greg Whaling, and expect a swift and just resolution to these undoubtedly false allegations.

This is happening because the boys behind this were always bullying other students and caught in the school bathroom planning to cause problems. I was witness to their actions when I assisted with yard duty many days.
When the fact-finding process exonerates Mr. Whaling, as I'm sure it will, WCCUSD needs to make a very clear public statement to make sure these unfounded allegations are put to rest.
I have had five grandchildren under Mr. Whaling and I have never felt anything but appreciation for his dedication to their safety. I am so sorry that your family has to go through this unnecessary situation, which was created only because you were doing job to keep our safe.
As a parent and colleague I know that Mr. Whaling is a person of integrity who has done so much to serve his community and tried to prevent bullying. He should be protected from false attacks on his character while doing his best to protect our kids. There should be consequences for people who spread false rumors which are damaging to our principal and our community.
I believe and support the principal. I was there that night. I know how fast gossip and stories can spread and change.
Mr. Whaling just recently welcomed us the deaf parents of new Kindergarten student who is going there since the school begun this year. We thank him for welcoming our son to be part of this school that we are so excited for, and for Mr. Whaling to doing great job, I can see him making sure that everything is doing well everyday at school. We already knew that he is surely great principal to this school Ellerhorst and of course, to the Pinole Community as well. Again, thank you, Mr. Whaling! No worries, we are behind you all the way! :)

Mr Whaling is a great Principal, and there needs to due process on this matter. I as a volunteer who would help 3-4 times a week, was a witness to the terrorizing and bullying of this student accusing. and I feel it’s pure retaliation against Mr. whaling for trying to stop him from harassing staff and students.
