In an initiative raised by our dear colleague Ekaterina Ivacheva, this petition is to support our Ukrainian and Russian classmates: Yuliya Linevych, Roman Adamchuk, Artem Kursakov, and Ekaterina Ivacheva, through alleviating some of the financial burden they may be facing in light of the current crisis in Russia and Ukraine.

In Ekaterina's words:

"Russia and Ukraine have a long common history and similarity in national operational processes, such as banking system, logistics, industry etc. Nowadays in Russia we can't buy or exchange currency, we can't make a trans-border transfer, we can't use Visa or Mastercard payment systems. Based on my experience and familiarity with all processes, I am absolutely sure that my Ukrainian classmates now, not only have stayed without a job and maintenance of life, to begin with it, they physically can't serve their foreign duties, because the national banking system has collapsed."

Our ask is for IE University to uphold its values by offering an additional donation or grant for education to our courageous colleagues who are committed to their educational journey despite the life-threatening conditions they are facing.
