Grant Exemption for Ukraine Returned Final Year Medical Students for KROK 2 Examination
We, the concerned final year medical students enrolled in esteemed medical universities of Ukraine, write to draw your attention to the challenges and difficulties we are currently facing due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. We kindly request your support in granting an exemption for the Krok 2 examination, considering the exceptional circumstances we have endured throughout our academic journey.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has deeply impacted us, the final year medical students, in numerous ways. Many of us were forced to leave Ukraine and seek safer places as the conflict escalated. This disruption led to a significant loss of study time and uprooted us from the familiar academic environment. We have had to adapt to online learning or pursue education abroad through mobility programs, causing immense stress and anxiety. Now, as we are about to graduate, the upcoming Krok 2 examination has been announced with very short notice, compounding our challenges further.
The Krok 2 examination is a crucial milestone in our medical education journey. It plays a significant role in determining our future prospects and ability to practice medicine. However, amidst the already overwhelming circumstances imposed by the conflict, the pressure to prepare for this examination has become an additional burden. The uncertainty surrounding the examination dates, locations, and processes only adds to our mental and emotional strain. If things stay the same, it will perpetuate the anxiety and hinder our ability to perform to the best of our abilities in this crucial examination.
Now, more than ever, is the time to act and alleviate the burden on the final year medical students in Ukraine. We have faced extraordinary challenges due to the war, forced displacements, and disruptions to our education. Granting an exemption for the Krok 2 examination during this specific time will provide much-needed relief to students who have diligently worked to reach this point in their medical education. It will acknowledge the exceptional circumstances we have endured and prioritize our collective mental and emotional well-being. Immediate action is essential to ensure fairness and support for the final year medical students who are eager to contribute to the healthcare sector in Ukraine.
We sincerely hope that you understand the gravity of the situation and the impact it has had on our academic journey. We implore you to take our plea into serious consideration and grant an exemption for the Krok 2 examination. Your understanding and support will not only provide relief to us as students but also contribute to the overall well-being and future success of the medical profession in Ukraine.
Sign this petition to show your support and help us bring attention to this pressing matter. Together, let us advocate for the rights and well-being of the final year medical students in Ukraine.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

All those students who applied for krok this year on 23/05 felt injustice and paper was unfair due to lot of reasons. Many of them came back to Ukraine thinking to finish up everything and taking up degree and go back home. But after krok exam it seems like everything is changed because pattern in exam was totally different compared to pattern given by test center site. So we just hope that we get justice soon...
regarding the test centre commission,as a final year student, we urge you to review our condition, despite of COVID-19,war situation, we supported Ukraine all the time and did not leave our universities, but Decision for step 2 you made personally,we considered wrong because last year test centre issued diplomas to students without any conditions and exams but this time not for us why? we also need to move forward with our country's exams no matter what we request you to review the condition of the students. we will all be very grateful to the government. I hope you all will understand that. GLORY TO Ukraine!

Please consider our situation, I took mobility from Zaporozhzhia to Uzbekistan.
Currently we have suffered alot of trauma and krok plays a significant role in determining our future prospects and ability to practice medicine. So i believe and hope that you will consider this thoroughly and come up to a wise decision of cancellation of the krok 2 exam

We are writing to you as concerned final year medical students enrolled in the esteemed medical universities of Ukraine. We would like to draw your attention to the challenges and difficulties that we, as students, are currently facing due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Firstly, it is important to highlight that last year, because of Ukraine -Russia war situations ,some of us chose to continue our studies through online mode, while others pursued education in various universities across the globe through mobility programs. This decision, was difficult journey and subjected us to immense stress and anxiety as we had to navigate through a cumbersome process of choosing mobility programs or adapting to online study. Now, as we are about to graduate, we have been notified of the upcoming Krok 2 examination , which is not yet clear where to be conducted .It is disheartening to note that amidst our already challenging circumstances, we are being burdened with the pressure of preparing for this crucial examination. Moreover, the dates for the examination have been undermined and changed once, and there is uncertainty about further changes in the future. This constant ambiguity has further intensified our anxiety and has made it difficult for us to concentrate on our exam preparations. Furthermore, the confusion regarding the location of exam centers and the examination process itself has added to the mental burden that we, as students, are currently carrying. The lack of clear guidance and information has left us feeling overwhelmed and unable to focus on adequately preparing for the exam. Considering these exceptional circumstances and the mental stress that we have endured throughout our academic journey, we kindly request you to grant an exemption for the Krok 2 examination for this particular time. We sincerely hope that you will empathize with our situation and take our plea into serious consideration. Granting an exemption for this exam
