Dear MIM Team,
This petition has been inspired by the one our IMBA counterparts have created.
We are writing to the management team in light of the recent events and the Management's decision to move all classes online until the 14th of April.
We understand that the team is doing everything they can keeping in mind our wellbeing and the government's guidelines; we all truly appreciate it and the efficiency with which the MIM team has been working from the get go.
That being said we believe that there could be better solutions for the current situation.
As the IMBA students suggested, some of the alternative solutions include:
1. Extending the program dates (for those interested)
2. Refunding students for the duration of the online program
3. Squeezing the learning into future dates ( weekends, elective period etc).
Having experienced first hand how ineffective online classes can be, we are concerned that IE would fall short on giving us the learning experience that we signed up for.
The past couple of days have demonstrated that the quality and value of the classes directed online is far from that we receive with face-to-face lessons for a large variety of reasons. Moreover, we believe that the learning experience we receive from working with our teams on various projects simply cannot be replicated online.
It is under these circumstances that we urge you to consider the alternative solutions recommended by the IMBA students or provide us other options that would help us obtain the full value of the kind of experience we have worked so hard worked to get.
We fully understand the challenges associated with our request and are willing to offer our full support and assistance in this time of difficulty and uncertainty.

The administration has acknowledged receipt of our communication regarding the ongoing transition to online learning. We are currently preparing a more detailed brief to address their initial feedback and urge them to consider the alternatives we have proposed.

The rapid growth of support for this initiative confirms that our concerns regarding the quality of the current learning experience are shared by many. This momentum provides a strong foundation as we prepare to present our proposed alternatives to the management team.

PLEASE refunds. This is not the education I signed up for.
Quality is way down. We need actual in person classes for the money we pay.
The online setup is so frustrating. Paying full tuition for zoom calls is a joke honestly.
While im signing this petition my section can’t access to the Financial Report online course its not working. We clearly did not pay that much money for this.
100 percent in favor of extending program dates instead of this remote mess.

Agreed 100%. Online classes are not sufficient and students loose their focus easily.
