Downtown High Point is on the verge of greatness with a stadium, hotel, 200+ apartments and $50M for additional development around the stadium that would include an events center, children’s museum and park.
All of these developments are pending on the Guilford County Commissioners’ approval of the financing plan for the stadium.

I just looked at the screen and saw the number one hundred sitting there which is honestly wild because I started this on a total whim. It is just so cool to see people actually caring about the downtown plan and wanting to see those cranes finally moving in the air.

As a High Point resident most of my entire life and a business owner in High Point for many years, I am urging you to support High Point’s efforts at revitalization. We NEED this!! Please support the plan for the stadium financing in High Point.
I want High Point to be a place where my 20-something year old children can see themselves settling down. If the downtown isn't revitalized, then I do not see many of our communty's children returning after college
High Point needs this project to energize our downtown community. Please support the stadium and development. YWCA High Point Board of Directors voted on a resolution in favor of this project!
This is a no brainer business decision Commissioners !! Private investment, no risk to the County and upside is off the charts. Let's be honest: If this project was in Greensboro, it would already have a green light !!
The stadium and surrounding developments have transformed the culture of downtown Greensboro and increased property values. Would love to see the same happen in High Point with this project!
As a business owner in the Uptowne District of High Point, I not only feel this would be a great addition for additional revenue for High Point but I also know this would be a great addition for the residential community as well. I look forward to seeing this this great stadium unfold in Downtown High Point.

We need this. High Point needs to start to grow for the community not just for furniture market. I support this and so do so many others. We can't let this slide by us and fall once again behind other city's. Our town is not a small town anymore and we need to grow and have people proud of our city.
