As a business owner in the Uptowne District of High Point, I not only feel this would be a great addition for additional revenue for High Point but I also know this would be a great addition for the residential community as well. I look forward to seeing this this great stadium unfold in Downtown High Point.

Our ask to the County, in present dollars is approximately $6 million. That will leverage the construction of a $30 million ballpark, $50 Million in donor development and $100 million in private development. If my math is right that equals $180 million in new construction/development in downtown High Point, with $6 Million (in today's dollars) . So $6 million to get $180 Million. $1 to get $30. Most people would take that. PLUS all of the construction job, new jobs once opened and than the Sales Taxes from Restaurants and hotels. --- NO RISK to the County!

This "shot in the arm" is desperately needed for downtown High Point. I urge the Guilford County Commissioners to vote in favor of this multi-use facility and let our fair city begin to reap the benefits of the $50 million in private funding committed.
