Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group will open a restaurant beginning Summer 2017 at 198 East 11th Street a/k/a 55 Third Avenue. We will be applying to Community Board 3 and the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs for a license to operate an unenclosed sidewalk cafe at this location. The street level restaurant will operate the outdoor seating Sunday-Wednesday 11:00am-11:00pm, Thursday 11:00am-midnight and Friday and Saturday 11:00am-1:00am.
We, the undersigned local residents, believe these operations will be a positive addition to the community and support the Martina East Village LLC application for a sidewalk cafe license.

Finally! This neighborhood needs more nice spots to sit outside and grab a bite. Plus it beats the empty storefronts that have been sitting there gathering dust for ages.
