I have been staring at the draft for my letter to the board all day because I keep thinking about how much the kids really need that extra time in the classroom to actually learn things. Honestly the silence from the district administration is getting pretty loud but I guess that just means we have to stay focused on why we started this whole thing in the first place.

FUND THE SCHOOLS. stop trying to save money by hurting our kids education.
the kids need the extra time to learn. half days are just rushing everything.
full day is best for them.
half day makes no sense for working parents. keep it full day please!
Seriously? How are families supposed to manage pick up and drop off in the middle of a workday. Bad idea.

My oldest went through full day and was so much better prepared for 1st grade. Dont cut this program.
