the school needs to actually do something because this is one reason why girls and boys dont report them being sexually assaulted. i dont think the school board understands that doing something about these kinds of things can actually change someone’s life.
It should not be an issue for a victim to speak out. Threatening with suspension with no real rules being broken is unlawful and should be taken to court. Whoever is holding this above Tat needs to be fired for making school and unsafe space for students by justifying sexual assault.
There needs to be change ! how this situation was handled is a disgrace to chaparral high school and the administration as a student it makes me uncomfortable to know if I have a this serious this is how our principal and other people who do highly say that our safety come first ? There needs to be Change
There needs to be better programs in place to assist and deal with sexual assault. It should be discussed and talked about, never silenced by anyone. Especially anyone that is supposed to be looked at as a peer or administrator.
I’m utterly disgusted in the TVUSD district and administration. I can’t believe how you are handling this situation, if you continue to victim blame then boys will see there is no punishment of any kind and abuse girls any chance they get. this is disgusting and i’m ashamed to go to school in this district.

If you want the world to change, then change it. Policy and protocol are necessary to protect innocent people who have been made a victim of a horrendous crime. You not protecting them is just as bad and is prolonging their healing process. Sincerely, A Rape Survivor
