Antonio Monroe is the president for Hope for Youth Hopewell Football Association. He started this organization in 2013 . His goal is to provide affordable sports for the underprivileged kids. Over the past two years Antonio and Hope for Youth has been fighting a uphill battle with the city, school boad and recreation department with a place to practice and play their home games. Despite his success with Hope for Youth city officials and school board officials continue to push him out as president because he is a convicted felon. Mr.Monroe was convicted at the age of 18 for a poss with the intent to distribute. Now Mr. Monroe is 30 and has made tremendous progress in his life. And is working with the area youth so they don't make the same mistake he made.
