A small group of concerned Bowen citizens are getting ready to approach Metro Parks Board with a request that there be a fenced 'off-leash' area for dog owners to use within the Crippen Park boundary. Our goal is to have the smaller 'sheep meadow', north west of the main meadow with the BIHORA horse paddock, enclosed as a safe, easily accessed area for dogs to run. With the support of our community this should be do-able! We hope to gather 350 signatures in support of this effort.
