The Corporation of Delta has provided a few locations around Delta where people can allow their dogs off-leash. Not one of these areas is maintained or fenced in to provide a safe area for our dogs to run. We, some concerned area dog owners, are looking to collect signatures from people in the Delta area who would like to have a proper park for their dogs. If you agree please sign our petition. it makes me wonder why Delta thinks the off leash dog park at Heath School is a good dog park. This park is the most dangerous dog park I have even been to. Dogs would be able to run out on 72nd street one of the busiest streets in Delta. Maybe who ever thought of this as a good dog park does have dogs.
