I just spent the morning reading through all your stories about how stressed everyone is and honestly it reinforces why this matters so much. My own kitchen table is currently covered in these packets and it just feels like the school year never actually ends which is exactly what we are trying to stop.

Why do they keep pushing this?? My son has been in school since August he needs to recharge. Leave parents alone!
Kids need a break to be kids. They work hard all year long and deserve to actually enjoy their summer vacation without a backpack full of busy work.
Ridiculous waste of time
Seriously. Let them have a childhood. School is 9 months of the year for a reason.
I am so tired of fighting my kids to get this work done. It ruins our family time and causes so much stress for no reason. STOP MANDATING IT.
So that children all around the world are not stressed out about getting a 0 just for not completing 200 pages of math and reading, hours of online homework, and 30 reading books.

Summer is for family trips and camps not worksheets. We have our own plans for their education. Thanks for doing this.
