If your sex conviction is expunged and you were less then 5 yrs apart and dont have to follow the school laws by the michigan law books then I belive that you should not have to register with the state of michigan. If you belive in this petition then please sign this. We need 304,101 people to sign by may 28th 2008. I hope and pray that the people of the state of michigan have a heart and an understanding that not all convicted sex offenders are out there to get your children.
its long past time to change these laws. people make mistakes when they are young and shouldn't have to carry that weight for the rest of their lives. let them move on.
