I would like to propose a change in the Legilative law, fl statue 800.04 and 794.021.That the age of consent be changed to 18, That a 16 yr old have the same effects that a 15 yr old and under. I believe that both parties should be liable for conviction, or less parents both agree on waivers. If not then both be prosecuted under the state of florid laws. I would also like to propose that the Fl statue 794.021, Ignorance or belief of victims age be taken away. When there is proof that the alleged victim has lied about there age, Example: If he or she states they are at the consential age and they are not, but the other party has proof of betrayle,that the conviction be dropped on the others behalf. Both need to be held accountable for actions whether the age of the victim is lower then the age of the defendent.
