Seeing one hundred people put their names behind this effort means the world to me. My own daughter is in one of the classrooms targeted by these cuts and I finally feel like we are forcing the council to pay attention.

My kids have enough trouble getting the help they need as it is. Cutting staff will only make the classes even more chaotic.
this is a joke. where is the money going then? definitely not to the kids. disgraceful.
The council need to find another way to balance the books. Losing 50 teachers is going to ruin the education kids get in the highlands. stop this now.
Teaching staff are already stretched so thin. How can they expect them to do more with less people.
Absolute madness. The rural schools can't handle these cuts.
